Public Transit
Start at the Mankato City Center Transit Station located at 201 E Main St, Mankato, MN 56001. Take the Blue Earth County Transit bus route that heads towards the northern parts of Mankato. Ask the driver to alert you when you reach the stop for ‘200th Ln.’ This stop is closest to Wildwood County Park. Once you get off the bus, walk east for about 0.2 miles on 200th Ln until you reach the entrance to Wildwood County Park, which will be on your left.
Bicycling
If you have access to a bike, start at the Mankato City Center. Head north on Riverfront Dr, turning right onto S Front St. Continue on S Front St, which will become 3rd Ave. Follow the bike path that runs alongside the river until you reach the intersection with 200th Ln. Turn left onto 200th Ln, and ride straight for about 1.5 miles. The entrance to Wildwood County Park will be on your right.
Walking
For those preferring to walk, start from the Mankato City Center. Head north on Riverfront Dr and turn right onto S Front St. Continue straight until you reach the intersection of 3rd Ave. Turn left on 3rd Ave and follow it as it curves into 200th Ln. Walk along 200th Ln for about 1.8 miles. Wildwood County Park will be on your right. Ensure to wear comfortable shoes as this is a bit of a trek.
