Getting There

• Public Transit

  If you're starting from downtown Minneapolis, head to the Nicollet Mall light rail station. Take the METRO Green Line towards the Target Field Station. At the next station, transfer to the METRO Blue Line. Ride the Blue Line towards the Mall of America and get off at the 38th Street Station. From there, you can either walk or take a bus. If walking, head west on 38th Street for about 0.7 miles until you reach W Lake Harriet Parkway. Turn left on W Lake Harriet Parkway and continue until you reach Lake Harriet Bandshell Park.

• Bus

  You can also take the bus to get to Lake Harriet Bandshell Park. From downtown, catch the 6 bus route heading towards the 'Linden Hills' neighborhood. Get off at the stop near W Lake Harriet Parkway. Walk south for a short distance directly to the park entrance.

• Bicycle

  Rent a bicycle from one of the many bike-share stations in Minneapolis. Start from downtown and head towards the Chain of Lakes area. Follow the bike paths along the lakes, and you will reach Lake Harriet Bandshell Park. The park is located on the western side of Lake Harriet, and there are designated bike paths leading directly to it.

• Walking

  If you are close to Lake Harriet, simply walk towards it. You can access the park from various surrounding neighborhoods. Look for signs pointing to Lake Harriet or follow the paths along the lakeside. The park's address is 4135 W Lake Harriet Pkwy, which is easily reachable on foot from nearby locations.
