If you are in downtown Minneapolis, start by locating the nearest Metro Transit bus stop. You can catch the bus number 4, which travels towards 'Lake Street & Hiawatha.' Ride the bus for about 20 minutes until you reach the stop at 'Lake St & Lyndale Ave.' From there, transfer to bus number 6 towards 'West Lake St & France Ave.' Continue on bus number 6 for about 10 minutes and get off at 'Roseway Rd & 41st St.' From the bus stop, walk south on Roseway Rd for a couple of blocks until you reach the entrance of Lyndale Park Rose Garden at 4124 Roseway Rd.

Walking
If you're near the Minneapolis Chain of Lakes, you can enjoy a scenic walk to the garden. Start at the Lake Harriet Bandshell and head southeast along the walking path leading to Roseway Rd. Follow the path until you reach the intersection with Roseway Rd. Turn left (east) onto Roseway Rd and continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you arrive at the Lyndale Park Rose Garden entrance.

For those who prefer biking, you can rent a bike through Nice Ride Minnesota from one of the nearby stations. Head towards the Midtown Greenway trail and bike west. Follow the Greenway until you reach Lyndale Ave. South, then head north on Lyndale Ave. until you reach 41st St. Turn left on 41st St and then take another left on Roseway Rd. Continue biking for a short distance until you see the entrance to Lyndale Park Rose Garden.
