    To reach Minnehaha Regional Park from downtown Saint Paul, start by heading to the nearest bus stop. You can catch the Metro Transit Bus Route 94 from the 5th Street & Minnesota Ave stop heading west. Ride the bus until you reach the 46th Street Station. From there, transfer to Bus Route 6, which will take you directly to the park. Get off at the Minnehaha Park stop. The park entrance will be a short walk from the bus stop.

  • Biking

    If you're up for a bike ride, start from downtown Saint Paul and head south on the River Boulevard bike trail. Follow the trail along the Mississippi River until you reach the intersection with Minnehaha Avenue. Turn left onto Minnehaha Avenue and continue straight until you reach the park entrance at 4801 S Minnehaha Dr. The bike ride is scenic and will take about 25-30 minutes.

    For those who prefer walking, start at the Minnesota State Capitol building in downtown Saint Paul. Head south on John Ireland Blvd toward W 12th St. Continue on John Ireland Blvd and take a left onto W 7th St. Walk until you reach the intersection with Mississippi River Blvd. Turn right and follow Mississippi River Blvd until you reach Minnehaha Ave. Turn left onto Minnehaha Ave, and the park entrance will be on your right at 4801 S Minnehaha Dr. The walk will take approximately 1 hour and offers beautiful views.
