Light Rail
To reach Northrop at 84 Church St SE, start by making your way to the nearest Light Rail station. If you're in downtown Minneapolis, head to the Nicollet Mall station on 5th St S. Board the Metro Blue Line towards the Mall of America. Ride for about 15 minutes and get off at the Franklin Avenue station. From there, transfer to the Metro Green Line towards Union Depot. After 2 stops, get off at the Stadium Village station. Exit the station and walk east on Washington Ave SE, then turn left onto Church St SE. Northrop will be on your right.
Bus
To get to Northrop via bus, find your way to a nearby bus stop. If you are near downtown, you can catch the 2 or 3 bus routes from Nicollet Mall. Board the bus and ride for approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Get off at the University of Minnesota stop, which is close to the campus. From there, walk south on University Ave SE until you reach Church St SE, then turn right. Northrop will be on your left a short distance down Church St.
Walking
If you're staying near the University of Minnesota, walking to Northrop is a pleasant option. Start at your location and head towards Washington Ave SE. Walk east until you reach Church St SE. Turn right onto Church St and continue walking for a few blocks. Northrop will be on your right at 84 Church St SE. This route will give you a chance to see the campus and nearby attractions.
Bicycle
If you prefer to bike to Northrop, Minneapolis has a well-maintained network of bike lanes. Start by locating a bike rental service nearby. Once you have a bike, make your way towards the campus area. Follow the bike lanes along Washington Ave SE towards Church St SE. Turn right onto Church St, and you will arrive at Northrop in just a few minutes. Be sure to lock your bike at one of the bike racks available there.
