    If you are in downtown Minneapolis, start at the Nicollet Mall, a popular pedestrian area. Walk west towards Hennepin Avenue and turn left. Continue walking south on Hennepin Avenue until you reach 1st Street South. Turn right on 1st Street South and walk until you reach the intersection with Portland Avenue South. Turn left onto Portland Avenue South, and Mill Ruins Park will be on your right at 102 Portland Ave S.

  • Public Transit - Light Rail

    From any downtown location, locate the nearest light rail station (like Nicollet Mall station). Board the Blue Line train heading towards the Mall of America. Get off at the Government Plaza station, and transfer to the Green Line train towards the University of Minnesota. Get off at the Target Field station.
