Getting There

    From the Mississippi River area, drive towards I-94 E. Take the exit for I-35E S towards St. Paul. Merge onto I-35E S and continue for approximately 4 miles. Take exit 103B for I-494 W towards Minneapolis. Merge onto I-494 W and follow it for around 5 miles. Take the exit for MN-55 E towards St. Paul. Continue on MN-55 E for about 3 miles, then take the exit for Fort Snelling State Park, which will be on your right. Follow the signs to the park entrance at 101 Snelling Lake Rd, St Paul, MN 55111.

  • Public Transportation

    If you are using public transportation, you can take Metro Transit Bus Route 54, which runs from downtown St. Paul. Board the bus at any stop along the route heading towards the Fort Snelling area. Get off at the Fort Snelling stop. From there, you will need to walk about 1 mile to reach the park entrance.
