  • Public Transit - Bus

    If you're starting from downtown Saint Paul, head to the nearest bus stop and catch the Metro Transit Route 21 bus heading towards the Mall of America. You will ride this bus until you reach the intersection of S Minnehaha Dr and Hiawatha Ave. From there, transfer to the Route 5 bus going southbound and get off at the Minnehaha Park stop. The Minnehaha Falls is a short walk from the bus stop, just follow the signs.

    For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing programs available in Saint Paul. Start your ride on the Gateway State Trail heading towards the east. Continue on the trail until you reach Hiawatha Ave. Turn right and follow Hiawatha Ave until you reach S Minnehaha Dr. Turn left onto S Minnehaha Dr, and you will find Minnehaha Falls just ahead.
