Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from within Tombigbee National Forest, head towards Highway 25. Depending on your starting point, you may need to navigate through local forest roads to reach the nearest highway access. Once on Highway 25, follow the signs to Starkville. Continue on Highway 25 for approximately 15 miles until you reach the exit for Starkville. Take the exit and merge onto Highway 182. Follow Highway 182 for about 4 miles, then take a left onto Highway 12. After about 1 mile, you'll see signs for Greek Columns. Turn right onto East Lee Boulevard, and the Greek Columns will be on your left. Parking is available nearby.

• Public Transportation

  If you are using public transportation, first check for bus services that operate in the area, as public transport options may be limited in rural Mississippi. Look for any local bus routes that connect to Starkville. Once you arrive in Starkville, you can either walk or take a local taxi service to reach the Greek Columns. Walking from the bus station to the Greek Columns is about a 20-minute walk. If you prefer not to walk, you can use a rideshare app or a local taxi service, which should cost around $10 to $15.

• Bike

  For those who are adventurous and wish to bike from Tombigbee National Forest to the Greek Columns, start by following the forest trails that lead to the nearest road intersection with Highway 25. Once you reach Highway 25, bike north towards Starkville, which is approximately 15 miles. Once in Starkville, follow the same directions as for driving, turning onto Highway 182 and then onto Highway 12 towards East Lee Boulevard. Ensure you have a bike lock, as there are bike racks available near the Greek Columns.
