Getting There

• Walking

  From downtown Tupelo, head north on Main Street towards West Front Street. Continue walking straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Highway 6. Turn right onto Highway 6 and walk for approximately 1 mile. You will pass several shops and restaurants along the way. Once you reach the intersection with North Gloster Street, cross the street and continue straight for about 0.7 miles. Look for signs directing you to the Chickasaw Village Site. The site will be located on your left, just off Unnamed Road #38801. The walk should take around 30-40 minutes.

• Bicycle

  If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Tupelo Community Center located at 400 Civic Center Dr. Head north on Civic Center Dr. for about 0.2 miles until you reach Main Street. Turn left onto Main Street and continue for 0.5 miles. Then, turn right onto Highway 6 and pedal for about 1 mile until you reach North Gloster Street. Turn left onto North Gloster Street and continue for 0.7 miles until you see the signs for the Chickasaw Village Site. The site will be on your left after the turn onto Unnamed Road #38801. The bike ride should take around 15-20 minutes.

• Public Transportation

  Take the Tupelo Public Transit bus from the Tupelo Transit Center located at 300 North Broadway Street. Board the bus heading towards Highway 6. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes until you reach the stop near North Gloster Street. From there, disembark and walk north on North Gloster Street for about 0.7 miles. Follow the signs leading to the Chickasaw Village Site, which will be on your left off Unnamed Road #38801. The entire journey from the transit center will take approximately 30-40 minutes, including the bus ride and walking.
