Getting There

• Car

  From any location in Black River Basin, head southwest on Highway 67. Continue on Highway 67 for approximately 20 miles until you reach the junction with Highway 54. Take the exit for Highway 54 west toward Eldon. After about 10 miles, take the exit for Highway 52 toward Eldon. Continue on Highway 52 and then turn left onto Cave Drive (this will be a small road). Follow Cave Drive for about half a mile, and you will see Stark Caverns on your left at 125 Cave Dr, Eldon, MO 65026.

• Public Transportation

  If you are using public transportation, first check local bus schedules for routes that go to Eldon. You may need to take a bus from Black River Basin to a larger nearby city, such as Jefferson City, and then transfer to another bus heading to Eldon. Once in Eldon, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) to reach Stark Caverns, as there may not be direct public transit to Cave Drive.

• Bike

  For the adventurous, biking from Black River Basin to Stark Caverns is an option. Start by riding southwest on Highway 67, then take the exit onto Highway 54 west toward Eldon. Continue until you reach Highway 52, then follow the road signs to Cave Drive. Be sure to wear a helmet and follow local traffic laws, as some stretches may not have dedicated bike lanes.
