    From the Independence Square, walk to the nearest bus stop located at 4th & Main. Board the KCATA bus #24 (Blue Line) heading towards Downtown Kansas City. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop at 5th & Grand. From the bus stop, walk south for two blocks on Grand Boulevard. The Arabia Steamboat Museum will be on your left at 400 Grand Blvd.

    If you are near the Independence Center Mall, you can walk to the nearest bus stop. Head towards the northwest entrance of the mall and exit onto I-70. Walk southwest on I-70 towards S Noland Rd. Continue walking until you reach the bus stop at Noland & I-70. Once there, board the KCATA bus #24 (Blue Line) heading towards Downtown Kansas City. After about 30 minutes, get off at the 5th & Grand stop. Walk south on Grand Boulevard for two blocks to reach the museum at 400 Grand Blvd.
