From Independence, head to the nearest bus stop and take the Metro bus route 74 towards 'North Kansas City'. Stay on the bus for approximately 30-35 minutes. Get off at the stop 'River City Drive at 1st Street'. From there, walk north on River City Drive for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at The Lewis and Clark.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from a local rental shop in Independence. Take the Independence Greenway Trail heading west until you reach the intersection with the Blue River. Continue along the trail until you reach the Missouri River, then follow the river path north. This route takes approximately 45-60 minutes. Once you reach 1 River City Drive, you will find The Lewis and Clark right along the river.
