If you are starting from the Missouri State Capitol, head east on Capitol Avenue towards East High Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with East High Street, then turn left. Walk along East High Street for about a quarter mile (approximately 5-7 minutes) until you reach 601 E High St. The Historic City of Jefferson will be on your right.

If you are near the downtown area, you can take the local bus service. Catch the bus at one of the stops along High Street going east. Make sure to get off at the stop nearest to 601 E High Street. From there, it’s a short walk to the Historic City of Jefferson, which will be right in front of you.

If you have access to a bike, you can ride along East High Street. Starting from the Jefferson City Greenway, head southeast and follow the trail until you reach East High Street. Turn left and continue riding for about a mile until you reach 601 E High St. The Historic City of Jefferson will be on your right.
