Car
If you are driving from the center of Table Rock Lake, head north on MO-265 N for approximately 4 miles. Merge onto US-65 N and continue for about 1 mile. Take the exit towards Branson and merge onto MO-76 E. Continue on MO-76 E for approximately 5 miles. Turn right onto Owen Lane. The Lakeside Forest Wilderness Area will be on your left at 412 Owen Ln, Branson, MO 65616.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, start by taking a local bus from your accommodation to the Branson Landing area. From there, transfer to the Branson bus service that heads towards the Branson Community Center. Once you arrive, it is approximately a 30-minute walk to Lakeside Forest Wilderness Area. Head east on E Main St toward N 1st St, then turn left onto Owen Ln. Continue straight until you reach the wilderness area at 412 Owen Ln. Note that bus service may have limited hours, so check the schedule to plan your trip accordingly.
Walking
For those staying nearby, you can walk to the Lakeside Forest Wilderness Area. From the center of Branson, head east on E Main St. Continue straight for approximately 1 mile, then turn left onto Owen Ln. Follow Owen Ln for another half-mile, and the entrance to the wilderness area will be on your right at 412 Owen Ln. This route is pedestrian-friendly and offers a chance to enjoy the local scenery.
