The Palace is home to several artistic collectives, including the renowned "Vatra Horelor" dance ensemble from Slobozia Mare, known for promoting southern Moldovan folk dance both locally and internationally since the 1970s. Another significant group is the male vocal ensemble "Mocănașii," recognized by UNESCO for their traditional men's group caroling, a testament to the region's rich intangible cultural heritage. The Palace hosts a wide array of events, including concerts for holidays, the International Folklore Festival "Nufărul Alb," and the "Mărțișor" festival. It also features a permanent exhibition of folk artisans from the transborder region with Romania.
