Getting There

• Walking

  If you are already in the Centru area, you can easily reach the Stephen the Great Monument by walking. Start on Bulevardul Ștefan cel Mare, which is one of the main streets in the city. If you're at the National Opera and Ballet Theatre, head east on Bulevardul Ștefan cel Mare. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes, and you will see the monument situated in Ștefan Cel Mare Park on your left.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  If you prefer public transport, you can take a bus to get close to the monument. Look for bus stops along Bulevardul Ștefan cel Mare. Any bus that goes towards the direction of 'Teatrul de Opera' will work. Once you board the bus, pay attention to the stops; you will want to get off at the stop named 'Teatrul de Opera.' From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk to the monument. Head east on Bulevardul Ștefan cel Mare and you will reach the monument in no time. Note that the bus fare is around 5 MDL (Moldovan Leu).

• Taxi or Rideshare

  For a more comfortable option, consider using a taxi or a rideshare service like Yandex Taxi. Simply input 'Stephen the Great Monument' as your destination. The fare will depend on your starting location but expect to pay around 30-50 MDL for a ride from anywhere in Centru. This is a great option if you're carrying heavy bags or traveling in a group.
