Public Transport
To reach Tipova Monastery via public transport from Chisinau, take a marshrutka (minibus) from the Central Bus Station to Orhei. From Orhei, you will need to take a taxi to Tipova, as there is no direct bus connection. The marshrutka from Chisinau to Orhei takes approximately 1.5 hours, and the taxi from Orhei to Tipova takes around 30-45 minutes. Expect to pay around 30 MDL for the marshrutka to Orhei and negotiate a fare of 150-200 MDL for the taxi to Tipova.
Walking
If arriving in Ţipova village by bus, the monastery is approximately a 20-minute walk from the bus stop. Follow the main road through the village, and you will see signs directing you to the monastery. The path leads towards the Dniester River, where the monastery is perched on the cliffs. Be prepared for some uphill walking and wear comfortable shoes.
