Curchi Monastery, located in the picturesque Vatici valley, is a serene escape into Moldova's spiritual heartland. Founded in 1773 by the brothers Iordache and Mihail Curchi, the monastery evolved from a humble wooden hermitage into one of the most important monastic complexes in Bessarabia.The monastery's architectural ensemble largely dates back to the 18th and 19th centuries.
