Getting There

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Chișinău. Take the M2 highway heading north towards Orhei. Continue on M2 for about 60 km until you see signs for Ţipova. Exit onto the road leading to Ţipova village and follow the signs. Upon entering the village, look for signs directing you to Tipova Monastery, which is located along the banks of the Nistru River. Parking is available near the monastery entrance, but there may be a small fee of around 10 MDL.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Tipova Monastery using public transportation, you can take a marshrutka (shared minibus) from Chișinău to Rezina. Marshrutkas leave from the central bus station in Chișinău. Once you arrive in Rezina, take another marshrutka that goes directly to Ţipova village. From the drop-off point in Ţipova, walk towards the river following the signs for the monastery, which is approximately a 15-20 minute walk downhill. The total fare for the marshrutkas will be around 50-70 MDL.
