Walking
From the central area of La Condamine, head towards the main street, Avenue de la République. Walk along Avenue de la République until you reach the intersection with Rue de l'Industrie. Turn right onto Rue de l'Industrie and continue straight until you arrive at the Port Hercule. Proceed along the waterfront, enjoying the views, until you reach the end of the port. From there, take the steps or the ramp leading up to the elevated area and follow the signs towards Nice. This path will guide you towards the train station. Once you reach the train station, purchase a ticket to Nice.
Train
After purchasing your train ticket, board the regional train towards Nice Ville. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Nice Ville station, exit the station and head towards Avenue Jean Médecin. Follow the street signs to Place Masséna, which will be straight ahead. Continue on Avenue de Verdun until you reach the Promenade des Anglais. From there, make your way towards the Old Town (Vieux Nice) area. Walk through the streets until you reach Place Pierre Gautier, where the Palais de la Préfecture is located.
Public Transport
Alternatively, from La Condamine, you can take bus number 100 from the nearest bus stop. The bus travels directly to Nice. Get off at the stop named 'Jean Médecin' in Nice. From there, walk along Avenue Jean Médecin until you reach Place Masséna. Continue straight ahead towards the Old Town, and then head towards Place Pierre Gautier, where the Palais de la Préfecture is located.
