Walking
Start from Monte Carlo Casino (Casino de Monte-Carlo), which is a central landmark. From the front entrance of the casino, face the main street (Avenue des Beaux Arts). Walk down this avenue towards the sea and take the first right onto Avenue de la Madone. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenue Saint-Charles. Turn left onto Avenue Saint-Charles and follow it until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenue de la République. Keep walking straight until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Source. Turn right onto Rue de la Source, and after a short walk, you will see the François Grimaldi Statue in the small square on your left, near the entrance to the old town (Monaco-Ville).
Public Transport (Bus)
If you prefer to take public transport, head to the nearest bus stop at Monte Carlo Casino. Look for bus line 1 or 2 (Direction: Monaco-Ville). Board the bus and enjoy the short ride. Get off at the 'Monaco-Ville' stop. From there, walk towards the old town and take the steps leading up to the old town area. After a short walk, you will find the François Grimaldi Statue in the square just before the entrance to the palace.

Walk towards the main road (Avenue d'Ostende), and then head up the hill by following the signs to Monaco-Ville. Take the stairs or the winding road (Chemin des Révoires) that leads upwards. After a good hike up, you will arrive at the old town. Continue straight, and you'll find the François Grimaldi Statue in the small square near the palace.
