From there, walk towards the waterfront, passing the marina. Continue along the promenade until you see the signs for La Citadelle de Villefranche-sur-Mer. It's about a 10-minute walk uphill from the waterfront.

If you prefer walking, exit your accommodation and walk down Avenue Princesse Grace towards the coast. Follow the path leading to the beachfront and then head left along the promenade. Continue walking past the marina until you reach the main square (Place Emmanuel Philibert). La Citadelle is located at the very end of the square. The walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes, but it offers beautiful views along the way.
