If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Buir Lake. Head southeast on the main road towards Govi-Altai. Continue for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the signpost for Buur Nuur. Turn left at the sign and follow the dirt road for about 5 kilometers. This road may be bumpy, so drive cautiously. You will arrive at Buur Nuur, which is a beautiful lake surrounded by scenic views.
Public Transportation
For public transportation, take a minibus (known locally as a 'marshrutka') from the main bus station in Buir Lake towards Govi-Altai. The fare is approximately 3,000 MNT. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Buur Nuur stop (they may not know the name, so showing them the name written down could be helpful). After about a 45-minute drive, get off at the designated stop and walk approximately 2 kilometers to reach Buur Nuur. The path is straightforward, and you will see signs directing you towards the lake.
