Car

If you're driving from Ikh Nuur Basin, head southwest on the main road towards Ulaanbaatar. Continue for about 70 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for Manzushir Monastery. The turnoff is marked, and you will see signs indicating the direction. Once you turn, follow the road for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the monastery's parking area. Note that the road can be rough, so a vehicle with good clearance is recommended.

Public Transportation

To reach Manzushir Monastery using public transportation, first take a bus or minivan from Ikh Nuur Basin to Ulaanbaatar. Buses leave regularly and the fare is generally around 5,000 MNT. Once you arrive in Ulaanbaatar, head to the bus station and look for a bus or minivan heading to Zaisan or Tov aim. The fare is about 2,000 MNT. Ask the driver to drop you off at the turnoff for Manzushir Monastery. From there, you may need to walk approximately 10 kilometers along a dirt road to reach the monastery.

Taxi

If you prefer a more direct route, consider hiring a taxi from Ikh Nuur Basin to Manzushir Monastery. This option will be more expensive, likely costing around 20,000 to 30,000 MNT one way. Ensure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey. The taxi will take you directly to the monastery, which is a convenient option if you're traveling with a group or have luggage.
