Car
From the center of Orkhon Valley, head southeast on the Bat-Ulzii Road (also known as the road to Uurtiin Tokhoi). Continue for about 30 km, passing through stunning landscapes. Keep an eye out for directional signs to Uurtiin Tokhoi Cliff. Once you reach the cliff area, you may need to park your car at a designated parking area nearby and walk a short distance to the viewpoint.
Public Transportation
Take a minibus (known as a marshrutka) from the main bus station in Orkhon Valley heading towards Bat-Ulzii. The fare is typically around 5,000 MNT (Mongolian Tugrik). Inform the driver that you wish to visit Uurtiin Tokhoi Cliff. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Bat-Ulzii stop, you may need to walk about 2 km to reach the cliff. Look for local signs or ask locals for directions.
Bicycle
For the adventurous traveler, renting a bicycle in Orkhon Valley is a great option. Start from the center of Orkhon Valley and take Bat-Ulzii Road. The ride is approximately 30 km one-way.
