If you are traveling by car, start from the main town of Kharkhorin, which is about 30 km away from Orkhon Waterfall. Head east on the A-2 road towards the Orkhon Valley. After approximately 20 km, turn left onto the dirt road leading to Orkhon Waterfall. Follow this road for about 10 km, and you will reach the parking area near the waterfall.
Public Transportation
To reach Orkhon Waterfall using public transportation, take a minibus (known as a 'marshrutka') from Kharkhorin to the Orkhon Valley. Once you arrive at the nearest stop, you can hire a local taxi or shared vehicle to take you the remaining 10 km to the waterfall. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand, as prices can vary.
