Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving, start from the Terelj National Park entrance where you paid the park fee. Follow the main road leading deeper into the park, passing notable landmarks such as the Aryabal Meditation Temple and Turtle Rock. Continue on the main road for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach a fork. Take the left fork towards Selenge. After about 15 kilometers, look for signs indicating Khan Khentii. Follow those signs for another 10 kilometers until you reach the entrance of Khan Khentii.

    To reach Khan Khentii via public transport, start from Ulaanbaatar. Take a bus or shared van from the Ulaanbaatar Central Bus Station to Terelj National Park. The fare is approximately 5,000 MNT. Once you arrive at the park, you can hire a local taxi or arrange a ride with a tour operator to take you to Khan Khentii. The taxi fare may vary but expect to pay around 20,000-30,000 MNT for a one-way trip.
