Car
If you're driving, start from the main entrance of Terelj National Park. Follow the main road, known as the Terelj Road, which leads deeper into the park. Continue on this road for about 5 km until you reach the sign for the 13th Century Complex. Turn onto the road leading to the complex and follow it for about 1 km. The complex will be on your left. Parking is available at the site.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, you can take a shared minibus (known locally as a 'marshrutka') from Ulaanbaatar to Terelj National Park. The buses leave from the eastern bus terminal. Once you arrive at the park, you can either walk (approximately 5 km) or negotiate a taxi to take you to the 13th Century Complex. Ensure you agree on a fare beforehand. The taxi ride should cost around 5,000 to 10,000 MNT.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of the 13th Century Complex and prefer walking, head towards the main road and walk for about 1 km along the road leading to the complex. It is a scenic route with beautiful views of the surrounding landscape, but be cautious of vehicles as you walk.
