If you are driving to Turtle Rock from the main entrance of Terelj National Park, begin by heading south on the main road (Route 1) that runs through the park. Continue straight for about 5 kilometers until you reach a fork. Take the right fork towards Genghis Khan Statue Complex. After approximately 2 kilometers, you will see a sign for Turtle Rock. Follow the signs and park in the designated parking area nearby. The rock is only a short 10-minute walk from the parking area.

To reach Turtle Rock using public transportation, start by taking a bus or minibus from Ulaanbaatar to Terelj National Park. Buses leave from the Dragon Bus Station in Ulaanbaatar and the fare is about 2,500 MNT (approximately $1 USD).
