Getting There

    From the main entrance of Terelj National Park, head south on the main road toward the village of Terelj. Continue straight until you reach the intersection near the Terelj River. Take a right turn at the intersection and follow the road for approximately 30 kilometers. Look for road signs directing you to Khan Khentii. You will drive through scenic landscapes, so keep your camera ready! As you approach, watch for the XPH7+M72 coordinates on your GPS. The entrance to Khan Khentii will be on your left.

  • Public Transportation

    Take a minibus (known as 'marshrutka') from Ulaanbaatar to Terelj National Park. The minibuses leave from the east side of the State Department Store and cost about 3,000 MNT. Once you arrive in Terelj, you can either hire a taxi or find a local tour operator who can arrange transportation to Khan Khentii. The taxi fare to Khan Khentii should be around 10,000 MNT. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand, and confirm that the driver is familiar with the location.
