From Ulaanbaatar, head east on the A-2 highway towards Khentii Province. After approximately 150 kilometers, take the exit towards Bayagiin Dugan. Follow the signs to Bayagiin Dugan, which is about 20 kilometers from the exit. The GPS coordinates for Gunjiin sum are approximately 48.1837° N, 107.5556° E. Once in Bayagiin Dugan, follow local roads to reach Gunjiin sum, which is about 5 kilometers from the town center.

Take a bus or minibus from Ulaanbaatar to Khentii Province. Buses leave regularly from the East Bus Station (Zuun Ail). After reaching the town of Bayagiin Dugan, you can either walk (approximately 5 kilometers) or hire a local taxi to Gunjiin sum. Be sure to confirm the taxi fare beforehand. The bus fare is around 15,000 MNT (approximately $5), while a taxi to Gunjiin sum may cost about 10,000 to 20,000 MNT.
