Car
From Pray, MT, take Highway 89 north and drive for approximately 6 miles. Turn left onto the Pine Creek Road (Forest Service Road 142) and continue for about 6 miles until you reach the Pine Creek Trailhead parking area. This road is gravel and may require a high-clearance vehicle, especially after heavy rain.
Hiking
From the Pine Creek Trailhead, follow the Pine Creek Trail (Trail No. 36) for about 3.5 miles. The trail is well-marked and features scenic views along the way. It will lead you directly to Pine Creek Lake. Be prepared for a moderate hike with some elevation gain.
