From Big Sky, start at the Big Sky Mountain Village. Take the Skyline Bus (check the local schedule for specific times) towards the Town Center. Disembark at the Town Center stop. From there, you will need to find the nearest shuttle service or ride-sharing option, as public transport does not directly reach Gardiner. Arrange a ride to Gardiner, which is approximately 45 miles away. Upon arriving in Gardiner, walk or take a short taxi ride to the Roosevelt Arch located at 2819 US-89.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local shops in Big Sky. Start your journey on the US-191 towards West Yellowstone. After approximately 30 miles, turn onto US-89 North towards Gardiner. The ride is scenic, and you will eventually reach the Roosevelt Arch. Please note that this is a long ride, so ensure you have enough water, snacks, and a map or GPS to navigate.
