If you are starting in downtown Billings, head to the nearest bus stop and take the MET Transit Bus Route 3 towards the Heights. The bus will take you along 27th Street. Stay on the bus for approximately 15-20 minutes until you reach the stop at W Wicks Lane & Nutter Blvd. From there, you will be just a short walk away from Castle Rock Park. Upon disembarking, head east on W Wicks Lane, and within 5 minutes you will arrive at the entrance of Castle Rock Park.

For those who prefer biking, start at the downtown area and make your way to the Billings Riverfront Park. From there, you can follow the bike paths along the Yellowstone River. Continue northeast until you reach the intersection of W Wicks Lane and Nutter Blvd. From this intersection, head east on W Wicks Lane for about 5 minutes, and you will reach Castle Rock Park. The ride should take approximately 30 minutes depending on your speed.

If you are walking from a central location like the Billings Library, head east on Montana Ave until you reach 27th Street. Turn left and proceed north until you reach W Wicks Lane. Turn right on W Wicks Lane and continue walking for about 20-25 minutes. You will see the entrance to Castle Rock Park on your left. Make sure to enjoy the pleasant views along the way!
