Car
If you are driving from Hamilton, MT, head south on US-93 for approximately 12 miles. Look for the turnoff onto Blodgett Canyon Road (also known as Forest Road 203) on your left. Follow this road for about 5 miles until you reach the Blodgett Overlook Trailhead parking area, located on your right. The trailhead is well-marked, and there is a small parking area available.
Public Transportation & Hiking
While there is limited public transportation directly to the Blodgett Overlook Trailhead, you can take a bus from Missoula to Hamilton, MT using the Mountain Line bus service. Once in Hamilton, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to reach the Blodgett Canyon Road. After arriving at the trailhead, you will have to hike approximately 1 mile to reach the actual overlook. Be prepared for a moderately steep trail.
