From Hamilton, Montana, head south on US-93 S for approximately 16 miles. Look for Lost Horse Observation Point Road on your left. Turn onto Lost Horse Observation Point Road and continue for about 4 miles until you reach the Camas Creek Trailhead parking area. Please note that the road may be unpaved and can be rough, so a high-clearance vehicle is recommended. There are no fees to park at the trailhead.

Once you get off the bus, it is advised to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you the remaining distance to Lost Horse Observation Point Road since public transit does not reach the trailhead directly.
