If you're starting from downtown Butte, head to the nearest bus stop on W Park St. Board the Butte-Silver Bow Public Transit bus line that goes towards the Butte Plaza Mall. Stay on the bus for about 10-15 minutes. Get off at the stop near the intersection of W Broadway St and Museum Way. From there, walk south on Museum Way for about 5 minutes until you arrive at the World Museum of Mining, located at 155 Museum Way.

If you are close to the Butte Civic Center, you can walk to the World Museum of Mining. Start by heading east on W Granite St towards S Montana St. Turn left on S Montana St, continue until you reach W Broadway St, and turn right. Walk along W Broadway St for about 15-20 minutes until you reach Museum Way. Turn left on Museum Way and walk for about 5 minutes to reach the museum at 155 Museum Way.

If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Butte Community Recreation Center. Head east on W Park St, then take a right on S Montana St. Continue until you reach W Broadway St. Turn left on W Broadway St and continue for approximately 1 mile. Turn left onto Museum Way and bike for about 5 minutes to reach the World Museum of Mining.
