Getting There

• Walking

  Start at the Butte Civic Center located at 1340 Harrison Ave, Butte, MT 59701. From the Civic Center, head east on Harrison Ave for about 0.5 miles until you reach 27th St. Turn left onto 27th St and continue for about 0.3 miles. At the intersection with Montana St, turn right and walk for 0.4 miles until you reach the entrance of the Butte Silver Bow Public Archives. This location is a convenient place to gather information if needed. Continue on Montana St for another 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Parkmont St. Turn left onto Parkmont St and walk for about 0.2 miles to reach 106 N Parkmont, where you can find more information about the area and potential shuttle services.

• Biking

  Begin your journey at the Butte Depot located at 101 E Front St, Butte, MT 59701. Rent a bike from a nearby bike rental service. Head south on Front St toward Main St for about 0.3 miles. Turn right onto Main St and ride for 0.4 miles. Turn left onto Harrison Ave and continue for 0.5 miles, then turn right onto 27th St. Ride for 0.3 miles, then turn left onto Montana St. Continue for another 0.4 miles until you reach the intersection with Parkmont St. Turn left onto Parkmont St and bike for about 0.2 miles to arrive at 106 N Parkmont.

  Start your journey at the Butte Transit System station located at 1001 S Arizona St. Board the bus that heads towards the Butte area. You may need to transfer at the Butte Civic Center stop. From there, take the bus that travels along Harrison Ave. Get off at the intersection with Montana St. Walk east on Montana St for about 0.4 miles until you reach Parkmont St. Turn left onto Parkmont St and walk about 0.2 miles to reach 106 N Parkmont, where you can gather information about accessing the Humbug Spires Wilderness Study Area.
