From the center of Columbia Falls, head east on Nucleus Ave towards 1st St E. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with US-2 E. Turn left onto US-2 E and walk along the sidewalk for about 1.5 miles. You will pass several shops and restaurants along the way. Once you reach the traffic light at the intersection with Lone Pine Rd, turn right and continue walking. Lone Pine State Park will be on your left after about 0.3 miles. The entrance is well-marked.

If you prefer to bike, rent a bike from a local shop in Columbia Falls. Start by heading east on Nucleus Ave towards 1st St E. Bike straight until you reach US-2 E. Turn left onto US-2 E and continue biking for approximately 1.5 miles. Pay attention to traffic, as this is a busy road. When you reach the traffic signal at Lone Pine Rd, turn right. The park entrance will be on your left after about 0.3 miles.
