    If you are driving from any point in Gallatin National Forest, head south on US-191 S. Follow US-191 S for approximately 20 miles until you reach the junction with US-89 S. Turn right onto US-89 S and continue for about 16 miles. You will pass through the small town of Gardiner. As you approach Gardiner, look for Old Yellowstone Trail S on your left. Turn left onto Old Yellowstone Trail S, and the Yellowstone Heritage and Research Center will be located at 20 Old Yellowstone Trail S, Gardiner, MT 59030. There is no entrance fee to access the center.
