If you are in downtown Kalispell, head north on Main St toward 1st Ave N. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach 4th Ave N, then turn left. Walk for 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with Lone Pine Rd, where you will turn right. Continue on Lone Pine Rd for about 0.7 miles, and you will see the entrance to Lone Pine State Park on your left at 300 Lone Pine Rd.

From downtown Kalispell, catch the Flathead County Transit (FCT) bus that heads toward the Lone Pine State Park stop. The nearest bus stop is at the intersection of Main St and 1st Ave N. Once you board the bus, stay on for about 15 minutes and disembark at the Lone Pine State Park stop. The park entrance will be a short walk from the bus stop, located at 300 Lone Pine Rd.

If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in downtown Kalispell. Start at Main St and ride north toward 4th Ave N. Take a left on 4th Ave N and continue until you reach Lone Pine Rd. Turn right onto Lone Pine Rd and bike for about 0.7 miles. The entrance to Lone Pine State Park will be on your left at 300 Lone Pine Rd. The route is mostly flat and provides a pleasant ride with scenic views.
