Start at the Kalispell Transit Center located at 40 1st Avenue East. Board the Flathead County Public Transit bus heading towards Lakeside. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop nearest to the intersection of US-93 and Flathead Lake. From there, walk south along US-93 for about 0.5 miles, and you will reach the entrance to West Shore / Flathead Lake State Park.

If you prefer biking, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Kalispell. Start at the Kalispell City Park located at 4th Avenue East. Head south on 4th Avenue East until you reach Main Street. Turn left onto Main Street and continue until you hit US-93. Turn right onto US-93 and follow it for approximately 5 miles until you arrive at West Shore / Flathead Lake State Park.

For those who enjoy walking, start at the Kalispell City Park located at 4th Avenue East. Walk south to Main Street, then turn left and continue until you reach US-93. Turn right and walk along US-93. The distance is about 5 miles, so be prepared for a good hike. After approximately 1.5 hours, you will arrive at West Shore / Flathead Lake State Park.
