    From the downtown Missoula area, head to the South Transit Center located at 1200 W Broadway St. You can catch the Missoula Urban Transportation (MUT) bus route 3. Board the bus heading towards the West Missoula area. Stay on the bus for approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the stop near the intersection of W Broadway St and Reserve St. From there, transfer to bus route 6, which heads towards the West Missoula area. After about 15 minutes, disembark at the stop closest to the Smokejumper Visitor Center, which is located at 5765 W Broadway St. Walk a short distance to reach the center.

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from various rental spots around downtown Missoula. Start your ride heading west along W Broadway St. Continue riding until you reach the Smokejumper Visitor Center at 5765 W Broadway St. The ride is approximately 3.5 miles and should take around 15-20 minutes depending on your pace.
