If you are starting from downtown Missoula, head east on W Broadway St towards S Higgins Ave. Continue straight until you reach S Higgins Ave, then turn left. Walk north for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with E Main St. Turn right onto E Main St and continue for about 0.3 miles. Once you reach the intersection with S 3rd St E, turn left and walk up the hill towards the University of Montana campus. Follow the signs leading towards The M.

Start at the Missoula Transit Center located at 120 E Pine St. Board the Route 1 bus heading towards the University of Montana. Ride the bus until you reach the University of Montana stop. Once you get off, walk east towards the campus and follow the signs leading to The M. It’s a short hike up the hill from there.
