The bus will drop you off at the intersection of Rattlesnake Drive and the entrance to the Rattlesnake National Recreation Area.

Start your journey at the Missoula Downtown Bike Path located along the Clark Fork River. Follow the path northeast until you reach the intersection of Broadway St and Scott St. Turn left onto Scott St and continue until you reach Rattlesnake Drive. Follow Rattlesnake Drive north for about 3 miles. You will see signs directing you to the Rattlesnake National Recreation Area entrance.

If you prefer walking, begin at the Missoula Public Library at 301 E Main St. Head north on Pattee St until you reach the intersection with Broadway St. Turn left on Broadway St and continue until you reach Scott St. From there, turn right onto Scott St and follow it until it intersects with Rattlesnake Drive. Walk north along Rattlesnake Drive for about 3 miles, following the signs to the Rattlesnake National Recreation Area.
