Walking
From downtown Whitefish, head east on East 2nd Street towards Baker Avenue. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Highway 93. Turn left on Highway 93 and walk north for approximately 0.8 miles. You will then arrive at the Lone Pine State Park entrance located on your left at 300 Lone Pine Rd, Kalispell, MT 59901. The total walking distance is about 1.3 miles and will take approximately 25-30 minutes.
Biking
If you have access to a bike, start from downtown Whitefish and head east on East 2nd Street towards Baker Avenue. Continue for about 0.5 miles and turn left onto Highway 93. Bike north on Highway 93 for approximately 0.8 miles. The Lone Pine State Park entrance will be on your left at 300 Lone Pine Rd, Kalispell, MT 59901. The total biking distance is about 1.3 miles and should take around 10-15 minutes.
Public Transit
From downtown Whitefish, walk to the nearest bus stop on East 2nd Street. Take the Flathead Transit bus heading towards Kalispell. The bus ride may take approximately 30-40 minutes. Get off at the stop nearest to Lone Pine State Park, then walk about 0.4 miles south on Highway 93 to reach the park entrance at 300 Lone Pine Rd, Kalispell, MT 59901.
