The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Make sure to inform the bus driver that you want to stop at West Glacier.

If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Whitefish, such as 'Sportsman & Ski Haus' on 3rd Street. From the shop, head south on 3rd Street towards the intersection with Highway 93. Turn left onto Highway 93 and continue riding until you reach the junction with Highway 2. Follow Highway 2 west towards West Glacier. The ride is about 20 miles and will take approximately 2-3 hours depending on your pace. Be sure to wear a helmet and observe traffic rules.

Walking to West Glacier is quite a long trek, approximately 20 miles from Whitefish, so this option is only recommended for very adventurous tourists.
