Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Bar, head southeast towards the waterfront promenade (Obala 13. Jula). Walk along the promenade until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the M-2 road heading towards Sutomore. Continue walking along this road for about 1.5 km, passing by local shops and cafes. After approximately 1.5 km, you will see a bus stop on your left. Cross the road and take the bus towards Pobori. Get off at the Pobori stop (the journey takes about 10 minutes). From the bus stop, walk straight for about 500 meters until you see signs for Manastir Stanjevići on your right. Follow the path leading to the monastery, and you will reach the site.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  Start from the main bus station in Bar. Purchase a ticket to Pobori from the ticket office. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride which will take about 20 minutes. Keep an eye out for the Pobori stop. Once you arrive at Pobori, exit the bus and walk straight ahead for about 400 meters. You will see the signs directing you to Manastir Stanjevići. Follow the signs and paths leading you to the monastery.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Bar. Simply inform the driver that you wish to go to Manastir Stanjevići in Pobori. The ride should take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Taxis are available at various points around the city, or you can use a taxi app to book one. Ensure the driver knows the exact location by mentioning the address: 8RPJ+242, Pobori, Montenegro.
