Getting There

  • Walking

    From the main bus station in Bar, head east on Ulica 27. Novembar until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Ulica Jovana Tomaševića and continue straight. You will see signs for Pržno. Follow the signs as the road curves to the right and becomes Ulica Pržno. Continue on this road for about 3 kilometers until you reach Pržno. The Praskvica Monastery will be located on your right side, just a short walk from the main road.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    From the center of Bar, head to the main bus stop located at Trg Slobode. Look for the bus that heads to Pržno—these buses typically run every 30 minutes. Once you board the bus, inform the driver that you are going to Pržno. The journey will take about 15 minutes. Get off at the Pržno stop, and from there, it's a short 10-minute walk to Praskvica Monastery. Just follow the signs along the path that leads up into the hills.

  • Taxi

    You can easily get a taxi from anywhere in Bar. Just ask your hotel reception to call one for you, or head to a taxi stand. Instruct the driver to take you to Praskvica Monastery in Pržno. The ride should take approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive, you can ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance to the monastery.
